The Blue Heron Chapter of the Sumi-e Society of America, Inc., is a non-profit educational organization founded in 1988 to foster and encourage an appreciation of East Asian brush painting techniques through workshops, lectures and exhibitions. Membership is open to all painters and non-painters interested in this art.
